Flip phones, Desktop PCs, Compact Discs have been wiped out by newer, smaller technology. So what’s next on the chopping block?

Flat screen TVs

The sizes of flat TV screens have probably reached their plateau for the home. For example, Sony TVs in the USA are currently available in sizes ranging from 43” – 85”. Making them any bigger probably isn’t realistic, or even desired, by people living in an average sized home or apartment.

Laser TVs will replace them all 🧨

Look again at the picture above :-)

Leica have launched their first ever Laser TV called the Cine 1. It is a true alternative to a regular flat screen TV, and it’s based on ultra-short-throw projection technology.

Ultra-short-throw projection technology is an entirely different, superior, and more convenient technology than we are all familiar with.

Older-style projectors are a inconvenient to install on the ceiling and look extremely ugly in the living room.

However, a Laser TV can be placed on top of a regular TV unit, there is no need to attach it to a wall, cables can be hidden away, the sound system is built-in, and best of all… the screen size can go from 80” – 120”.
